By enrolling your mobile number for text alerts, you can:
- Manage your school account with text alerts.
- Receive timely alerts on your mobile.
- Choose the kinds of text alerts that meet your needs.
Text alerts may not be available for all of your school accounts with ECSI. Some schools may not allow text alerts for your account or the type of account you have with ECSI does not include text alerts today.
Data and messaging rates for your carrier may apply.
Message frequency varies based on the text message preferences you have chosen. To review and manage your Alert Option preferences:
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- Review your Alert Options preferences and choose which alerts you want to receive.
NOTE: Text alerts may not be available for all of your school accounts with ECSI. Some schools may not allow text alerts for your account or the type of account you have with ECSI does not include text alerts today.
ECSI can only send text alerts to United States and Canadian based mobile numbers. You can receive ECSI text alerts internationally if you have a United States or Canadian based mobile number and have the proper coverage with your mobile carrier. Data and messaging rates for your carrier may apply.
No. ECSI does not support text alerts to more than one mobile number.

Consent to Receive Text Alerts
By clicking on the Enroll My Mobile Number button, I affirm that I have read and agree to these ECSI Text Message Alert terms and Privacy Statement. Additionally, by clicking the Enroll My Mobile Number button, I expressly authorize ECSI and anyone on its behalf to contact me via text message regarding my account in accordance with my “Alert Options” preference at this mobile phone number or any other mobile phone number I provide to ECSI at any time using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS), artificial or prerecorded voice, or any other automated technology. I will be prompted in the next screens to subscribe to text alerts for all of the products connected to my account or choose which text alerts I want to receive. I understand that message frequency may vary and is dependent on activity and my selected preferences. I agree that I am authorized to enroll this mobile phone number in text alerts.
To enroll in text alerts from ECSI:
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- To enroll in text alerts, you must have an authorized United States or Canadian mobile number for your Profile.
- If your Profile does not display a Mobile number:
- Add your mobile number under General Information and Save the changes.
- Then, Click on the “Enroll for text alerts” link to enroll your new mobile number in text alerts.
- If your Profile displays a Mobile number:
- Click on the “Enroll for text alerts” link to enroll your mobile number.
- Read and agree to ECSI Text Message Alert terms and Privacy Statement.
- ECSI will need to send a verification code to your mobile number. Please have your device available. Message and data rates may apply.
- Once completed, you can automatically subscribe to text alerts for all of your connected school accounts that allow text alerts or choose the alerts you want to receive.
Important to note:
- Text alerts may not be available for all of your school accounts with ECSI. Some schools may not allow text alerts for your account or the type of account you have with ECSI does not include text alerts today.
- Text message alerts can only be sent to a United States or Canadian mobile number with a country code of +1. Data and messaging rates for your carrier may apply.
To review and manage your Alert Option preferences:
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- Review your Alert Options preferences and choose which alerts you want to receive.
NOTE: The types of Alert Options available may depend on the accounts you have with ECSI.
If your mobile number has changed:
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on UserName in the navigation bar to access the General Information tab.
- Verify your Mobile number under Contact Information is current.
- If it has changed, Click on the “Edit” link beside your Mobile number to update your number and Save the changes.
- Then, Click on the “Enroll for text alerts” link to enroll your new mobile number in text alerts and restore your Alert Options.
NOTE: Removing or editing an existing mobile number enrolled in text alerts will automatically unenroll your number from receiving future text alerts from ECSI.
Here are a few reasons you may not receive your text alerts from ECSI:
- Has your mobile number changed?
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on UserName in the navigation bar to access the General Information tab.
- Verify your Mobile number under Contact Information is current.
- If it has changed, Click on the “Edit” link beside your Mobile number to change your number and Save the changes.
- Then, Click on the “Enroll for text alerts” link to enroll your new mobile number in text alerts and restore your Alert Options.
- Is your mobile device prevented from receiving text alerts while being on an active phone call or while driving? Review your mobile device’s settings.
- Did you block text alerts from ECSI? You can unblock text alerts from ECSI by reviewing the SMS messages blocked from your mobile device.
- Did you recently reply “Stop” or “Stop All” to a text alert from ECSI?
- Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- Verify your mobile is enrolled in text alerts.
- Review your Alert Option preferences and restore your Alert Options.
- Important to note that:
- ECSI can only send text alerts to a United States or Canadian mobile number.
- ECSI does not support text alerts to landline or VoIP phones.

If you want to receive some types of text alerts but not others:
- Reply “Stop” to the ECSI text alert message you no longer want to receive.
- Or Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- Review your Alert Options preferences and choose which alerts you no longer want to receive.
If you no longer want to receive text alerts from ECSI at your mobile number for any of your school accounts:
- Reply “Stop All” to an ECSI text alert message.
- Or Sign In to your ECSI Profile.
- Click on “Your Communication Center”.
- Click on the “Opt out of text alerts” link.
- Confirm you want to opt out of all text alerts from ECSI for all of your school accounts and click on the Opt out of all text alerts button.
- Future alerts will be delivered by regular mail or email.
